Unworn: find out which of your clothes you actually wear
What is it?
Unworn is a wardrobe app for iPhone, iPad and the web. You photograph your clothes, log what you wear each day, and over time it builds up a picture of which pieces earn their place in your wardrobe and which just sit there. We all make clothing purchases we regret; the idea is to see them clearly enough to avoid the next one.
The screenshots here are my own wardrobe. I’ve logged 2,108 days of outfits so far, the last 739 of them in a row.
What it does
- Wardrobe: every garment with its photos, brand, sizes and measurements, split between what’s in rotation, what’s in storage and what’s been archived.
- Outfit calendar: log what you wore each day, keep a streak going, and look back at what you wore on this day in previous years. On iPhone there’s a home screen widget for the streak, and a daily reminder.
- Statistics: wear counts, cost per wear, what your wardrobe is worth and where the money went, and which colours you actually own.
- Suggestions: garments you’ve never worn, have stopped wearing, cost too much per wear, have left in storage too long, or that duplicate something you already have.
- AI features (Premium): photograph a garment and it fills in the type, colours and details, turns the photo into a clean product shot, or checks a shop photo against what you already own. On the web there’s also a stylist chat that knows your wardrobe (in beta).

A long time coming
Unworn started in June 2021 as an Ionic app, and was rewritten in React Native a month later. For most of its life it was called Procloset, and the backend has been through Auth0, DynamoDB, Firebase and finally Supabase. It became Unworn in January 2026, the web app joined the iPhone app in a single monorepo that March, and iPad support followed in September. All told, that’s over 1,600 commits.
